Spiel Uhr 2010
Group Motion presents new works by local choreographers. Spiel Uhr, meaning “play clock” in German, features local choreographers and performers as they perform original dance works for the first time. Sneak peak of Brian Sanders’ and his company, Junk, work in progress for this year’s Live Arts Festival. Philadelphia premiere of Penumbra, choreographed by Eleanor Goudie-Averill with puppeteer Nicole Donnelly, and new music by composer Caleb Engstrom. A video projection and contemporary dance work directed by John Luna and performed by Leanne Grieger. Duet choreographed and performed by Sara Yassky and Gregory Holt. A Franklin Method-inspired work by Shannon Murphy and Jumatatu Poe revolving around the heel bone.
